On February 7, 2018, EWA staff met with Zenji Nakazawa, advisor to Federal Communications Commision (FCC) Chairman Pai, to urge the FCC to adopt proposed rule changes to maximize use of the Part 90 800 MHz spectrum in the 800 MHz "Mid-Band" by assigning full-power, interstitial 12.5 kHz channels.
