David Patton is co-owner (with his long-time business partner Jay Tompson) of The Cambridge Group, a regional multiline manufacturers’ representative company and owner of two-way radio dealerships in the Texas Rio Grande Valley. He came to The Cambridge Group after founding a representative company based in Kansas City, Missouri in 1994. David began his career in the wireless industry 42 years ago in 1981 as a radio technician for a small two-way dealership in Kansas City. He later became the GM and minority stockholder of that company. Over the course of his career, David has held multiple positions within the wireless industry from Senior Tech to National Sales and Marketing Manager at Maxon Electronics.
