Donna Brake serves as Manager, Special Projects, with the Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development where she is dedicated to improving the oversight and management of Special Projects and contracts to statewide partners and also manages the Office of Apprenticeship and Work-Based Learning. Donna is a member of the Missouri Association for Workforce Development (MAWD) and has served on the MAWD board since 2019, she started as the Public Information Chair (1 year), moved to the Professional Development Chair (2 years), and is now serving as President-Elect. Donna joined Workforce Development in 2014 and has held multiple roles within the organization, including Workforce Development Specialist, Program Coordinator, Grant Coordinator, and Regulatory Compliance Monitor.
